I Keep Focusing On The Things That Kill Me!

Why is it that we are forever focusing on all the negative things? It seems so hard to focus on the positive, though it is often said that positive thinking opens doors for you. Even the Bible teaches us as a man thinketh so is he, to think on the pure positive things. Still! We manage to focus on the negative. The what if and it may not work out. Why are we so afraid, when we say we believe in God and is unlimited powers? The first thing that comes to my mind is flesh and the attacks of satan. The battle will forever be in our mind. The devil most effective trick is making us believe the negative so we can forfeit the purpose of God. Remember God has predestined things for us, so that means it is already done. All we have to do is walk into it. I want you to really meditate on what I am saying. If I am an enemy to someone and my whole being is stopping them from greatness on earth and heaven. The first thing I will do is make them believe that the promise and victory are not theirs. I will torment them day and night with no peace until they check out in most cases literally to the point of suicide. You see if we can really understand the spiritual warfare and how we must hold on to our faith and belief, we can win the battle. It is a mental fight ya'll. It isn't a physical battle, our Lord promises us that he is our refuge. 

We have to train our mind to be intentional about believing the good of a situation despite what it looks like. We have to see ourselves winning even if it looks like we are sinking. That is what our walk is all about. We must move forward and trust that God got us. If not, we are serving a myth and just talking out our heads. I don't know about you but this blog is blessing me as I am writing it. I feel so convicted because I too find myself focusing on the negative unknown things rather the positive unknown things. The outcome is unknown when you think about it but we have to ask ourselves, what are we going to meditate on? Do we really want the peace that we say we do?

The more I am growing closer to God the more I am learning it really is a weapon forming against our peace. That satan will use your family, your finances, your health, and yes your mind to steal your peace. We have to be two steps ahead always and we must fight back by using the bible and conditioning our mind and follow the precepts that the bible is teaching us. I pray this is blessing you and giving you some tools on how to navigate through life. No more bondage of our own mind. No more predicting the worst before we predict the best! I want to share this scripture that blessed me and I pray that it will bless you!

Philippians 3;8-16 NKJV
Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

We serve a God that is a waymaker and a miracle worker. It only takes one word from him. However, I must be honest with you. Release The Grief! The pain that we endure by people we love is the most painful experience ever. I don't know about you, but I can feel it in my bones and my heart aches when experiencing this kind of pain. Being hit from a blind spot not seeing it coming from that individual. I don't know if it hurts more because we didn't expect it or because who the oppressor is, either way, it hurts. As I am growing more each day spiritually, I am learning it cost me more to dwell on it.
