Follow Your Dreams

Following your dreams to most sounds ridiculous and farfetched but to the many who are living their dreams, it's a reality! They are enjoying the fruits of their labor and very unapologetic about it. You see it took for me to follow my dreams to understand the mindset of dream chasers and the dedication it takes. You literally are building a foundation from the ground up. You are turning your vision into a reality. You are dealing with the anxieties of the what if's and the how am I going to do it phases. The friends who become secretly jealous of your faith-filled decision to step out of the living average scenarios. The obstacles that make you doubt it all. The times of not having much because you are funding your vision and etc. Although the reward is fulfilling watching everything fall into place. The road isn't easy getting there. 

I truly believe this is what separates the driven from the mediocre. The driven stays resilient and consistent believing in themselves and makes sure they get to the other side. While the mediocre makes excuses and talks themselves out of their dreams. They say stuff like, "I just can't do it or nobody is supporting me" and etc. They create more obstacles then what is really there. Self-doubt will forever be the killer of every dream. Jesus has taught us to believe even if it is a mustard seed of faith. You can move any mountain when you believe. ( Matthew 21;21 Jesus replied, "Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.) 

You must believe in yourself and what you are trying to accomplish. Even if you are standing alone in your decision. Remember God placed the idea in your mind. We often look for others to validate our path. It is not their life or their portion to determine whether it's a good idea or not. When I first left my career to pursue my dreams of teaching the word of God and starting a publishing company. I didn't rely on anyone's opinion. I did what I had to do and I funded everything myself and pushed through every fear and doubt. I knew that I had to apply the scriptures to my life. If I wanted to succeed at something that has never been done in my lineage before. I read and watched people that are living their dreams, whether they are Christians or not. I have learned that the secular world is following our biblical principles to success and are winning. Now don't get me wrong many don't have a peace with it because they have not truly tapped into Jesus but they are receiving the tangible benefits from it.

I have not fully arrived into full manifestation of my vision but I am sure not sitting on the bleachers daydreaming about the vision anymore. I have dived in and people are being blessed by my decision to trust what God has placed inside of me. My children are excelling and living their best life, they are not afraid to dream and accomplished because they are watching their mother do what she said she was going to do. I thank God every day for his grace and mercy. Because of him, I can do things that I never dreamed of doing. He points me in the right directions and links me with the right connections. He supplies all my needs when money is short and he guides me to grow and think outside of my capacity. He is evolving me as I am walking this vision out. He placed the vision in me and is doing what he promised he will do. Never leaving my side when I am fully in submission to him. Trusting him whole heartily. I am so grateful that I decided to live out loud and doing what I love full time with peace attached to it. Don't let time, money, or people hold you back any longer. Someone needs what you are holding back to give. Live on purpose and tap into your destiny.

Affirmations: I will live on purpose! I am capable of winning! With God on my side who can stop me?

Your Life Can Change In Seconds Close your eyes, inhale and exhale now open your eyes, that is how fast everything in your life can change for the better. We serve a God that is a waymaker and a miracle worker. It only takes one word from him. However, I must be honest with you. If you are not prepared for the abundance that the suddenly will cause then you are doomed. You see, I feel like we should be preparing ourselves for what we are praying for. We should be confident and educated in what we are desiring from God. Preparation will forever be the key to our success. I want to encourage you to be praying for wisdom and understanding so you will know how to handle whatever comes your way. This will allow the blessing to never be a burden. Release The Grief! The pain that we endure by people we love is the most painful experience ever. I don't know about you, but I can feel it in my bones and my heart aches when experiencing this kind of pain. Being hit from a blind spot not seeing it coming from that individual. I don't know if it hurts more because we didn't expect it or because who the oppressor is, either way, it hurts. As I am growing more each day spiritually, I am learning it cost me more to dwell on it. I push myself to show that person love and not the phony cordial type, I mean the same ounce of love before they offended me. People are not obligated to treat me in an exact manner that I expect.
