Can You Stand The Rain? I believe that life truly is what we meditate and open our eyes to. As I, think about all my prayers that God has answered for me and many I was oblivious to. I mean I really missed the whole opportunity that he was creating for me. You see as we pray we need to start asking for deep revelation and discernment to truly manifest what we want. We ask to be debt free then God sends a stream and we spend on nonsense as we forget all about the bills or plans we had. You see we have to be intentional about our spending and thinking. Even in the wilderness, God provided the Israelites with everything they needed. But somehow they still felt the need to feel inadequate and complain heavy.  We have to learn to dig deep and realize that we serve a God who truly wants the best for us but we must meet him half the way. I Keep Focusing On The Things That Kill Me! Why is it that we are forever focusing on all the negative things? It seems so hard to focus on the positive, though it is often said that positive thinking opens doors for you. Even the Bible teaches us as a man thinketh so is he, to think on the pure positive things. Still! We manage to focus on the negative. The what if and it may not work out. Why are we so afraid, when we say we believe in God and is unlimited powers? The first thing that comes to my mind is flesh and the attacks of satan. The battle will forever be in our mind. Are You In It To Win IT? I think about the Champion brand clothing line and how it started off with a bang then ended up in Walmart and other discounted stores. Actually, it was at a discounted price for a couple of years before it became the It item again. I ponder on the mind of the creators and how they must have felt. How they were dedicated to their vision and didn't give up nor stop creating. It took great dedication and humility to still see the vision when everyone was looking at them to throw in the towel and boxed them as an average brand. Now I look around and everyone is wearing Champion and they even have new designs now.  I say this all to say stay focused on your craft and vision. How Will You End? Yesterday, I felt so defeated mentally. I didn't workout or read scriptures. I kept praying because I knew I just wasn't myself. It was like a big cloud on my mind, trying to make me think sad and focus on all the negativity that's been trying to tear me down. The crazy part is for the first time in a while, I have no major issues that I should be stressing about. Then, instantly the Holy Spirit spoke and said this is how millions feel that don't have a great relationship with me. They are in despair and seem to have all the tangible things but their heart, mind, and soul aren't at rest. Importance Of Fasting I find it so strange that modern-day Christians have dismissed some of the most important details to our walk. Many have ignored the precepts of the Lord. Living the world's way, all while holding the title as a Christian. I see fornication, lack of repentance, cussing, jealousy, witchcraft, and so much more. Forgetting that holiness is righteousness. Ignoring that sin leads to death. Grace and mercy are given so we can repent (change your mind) and refrain from our wicked ways. Christ teaches us to renew our mind which leads us to renew our ways. We are supposed to be made whole. Yes, it is a process but we are supposed to be applying the word of God walking towards that process of changing our lives. Follow Your Dreams Following your dreams to most sounds ridiculous and farfetched but to the many who are living their dreams, it's a reality! They are enjoying the fruits of their labor and very unapologetic about it. You see it took for me to follow my dreams to understand the mindset of dream chasers and the dedication it takes. You literally are building a foundation from the ground up. You are turning your vision into a reality. You are dealing with the anxieties of the what if's and the how am I going to do it phases. The friends who become secretly jealous of your faith-filled decision to step out of the living average scenarios. The obstacles that make you doubt it all. The times of not having much because you are funding your vision and etc. Although the reward is fulfilling watching everything fall into place. Can You Keep Ticking? Inquire minds will forever wanna know, can you keep going when all feels lost and stagnate?  Are you in it to win it or in it for the applaud and acknowledgment of people? You see when it's purpose-driven nothing can stop you. No trials or tribulations. You will stay consistent because there is a burning desire to do what you're called to do. The ambition of purpose drives you to weather any storm coming your way. That will forever be the difference between successful people and mediocre people. I never knew how hard it was to live on purpose until I started living on purpose. The insecurities and disappointments that come with the process. The forever evolving it takes and self-accountability to achieve what you have never achieved before. Learning to be content but still driven enough to reach higher peaks. Rejoice When He Fights For You! It amazes me how I teach the word of God and apply the word to my life for the most part but still can fall short of my own advice at times. I know many have but I just might be the one who is honest enough to admit it. It is not something that I am proud of but it is something that I must share. I believe transparency will always be the best teacher in life. In fact, the bible is based on transparency moments that have to catapult us all into greatness if we apply it. For me, my shortcoming happened last weekend. I had a family member who is filled with anger and malice do something that could have landed me in some serious trouble with authorities.
