Pushing Through The Uncomfortable!
I always ask myself, can I be doing more? Thinking do I make excuses or is life really throwing me curveballs? The truth is both. I can always go harder and life definitely throws crazy curveballs. For instance, I am trying to be more conscious of my eating habits and workouts. God wakes me up six thirty am every morning lately. I talk to him of course but the truth is I can get up that very second after prayer and workout. Instead of waiting until eight am. I will have so much accomplish before noon and will be able to have a crazy amount of feel-good energy from the endorphins being released after my workout. Yes, it is uncomfortable because I rather not wake up to workout so early but it will benefit me in doing so. I can opt for the chicken salad instead of the fried chicken and etc. Life is always about choices even when things aren't going as planned. We have a choice to slumber in grief and slip into depression or we can fight back by staying positive and pushing through our instinct and emotions.
It is all up to us at the end of the day. We can choose to trust God to work it all out like he explains in scripture. (Romans8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose) This scripture reassures us that no curveball can stop God's plan which is to prosper you and give you an abundant life! Curveballs will come but they cant derail the vision maybe delay but never stop the vision of destiny. Nothing can stop you from winning. The only person who can compromise the whole plan is you! I always say it's you vs you nothing more nothing less.
I never imagined becoming a widow before thirty years old. However, I did not let it stop me from growing and loving on my children or myself. I had to keep on pushing and told myself that I would help other man and woman deal with their pain of losing a loved one. I knew If I'd gave up my children will be screwed for life. I understood that I needed to be there mentally just as much as physically.
I had to learn to live in uncomfortable seasons all while trusting God to carry me along the way. I knew that I couldn't do it alone. That I had to choose to trust God and believe him. It worked out for me and my children and I know it can for you too. You don't have to go another day living an emotional rollercoaster. Letting life beat you up. It will if you let it. Let today be the day that you will learn to live and grow in uncomfortable circumstances. You will let them mold you and catapult you into destiny. You will be intentional about your life. Letting go of unnecessary baggage and no more excuses. God responds to faith and self-discipline. He loves a soul that trust him whole heartily.
I will be lying if I say it's easy, it is not but it is necessary. You have to be consistent and keep your happiness and peace. You have to push through procrastination many times and just go for what you want and expect it to manifest. Remember, Jesus, says whoever believes can move the mountain. (Mark 11:23 "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.)
You can push through the uncomfortable you just have to believe you can!
