Never Overlooked I was reading the book of Judges in the bible chapter four to be exact. As, I was reading a person stood out to me. Her name was Jael, she was very courageous and killed the commander of the army. I actually never really hear sermons preached on her; I always heard of Prophetess Deborah and how she was a powerful woman. However, the valient act of Jael, is often overlooked. Sad to say for most great warriors it can be like this. What I love about Jael is that she didn't do it to be praised but she did it to help the people. At that moment she knew that is was bigger than her and her bravery was needed. Yes, it is very painful, to be overlooked but just like Jael, you have to remember why you are doing what you're doing. Some might need to refocus and check your motives but you must know that God sees you. Your name might not be written in the title but you are apart the story and the reason for the victory. It Gets Hot In The Kitchen One thing about preparing and cooking a meal is that when you start and get towards the end of the meal the heat increases and you start to feel really hot. You're in the kitchen and it's hot. This is how it goes when you are close to destiny and manifestations. The turmoil increases it seems as if you can not catch a break. The truth is the devil is depending on you to quit. It is like working out and when you feel that burn you know you are closer to seeing the results of that workout. You have to believe in yourself and trust God. He will never bring you in the ocean to drown, he is counting on you to trust him and remember his words. It Cost Too Much When it comes to unforgiveness I love to remind myself how much it cost. The penalty is not worth paying. Unforgiveness bears fruits that don't contribute to my growth in the kingdom and in life. It bears fruits like bitterness, strife, pain, stagnate relationships, and in some cases, it demolishes future potential relationships. Don't get me wrong some things are hard to bear and deserve a reaction but to allow the situation to stop me from living benefits me nothing. Especially when the person has moved on and living their life to the fullest. They have offended me and moved on, while I am stuck still reliving the pain.  The bible teaches us in Ecclesiastes that there is a time for everything under the sun, and yes that includes forgiveness.  Even Jesus, when on the cross last words were "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing." It Will Workout Some days I feel so sad and wondering if I am making the right choices. But then I think about what will happen If I stay focused. The rewards of being a finisher and watching my beautiful children reap the benefits of me being a finisher. I love reading! I get to see how the process works. How every successful person felt like giving up too. In fact, today I wanted to throw a pity party. I went to my inspirational pages and recited some scriptures to myself and got up and worked out. I conducted my day and realized I am very grateful to have this opportunity to press through and become what I really want to become. I prayed for days like this. Dare To Be The One Percent I often hear people whisper and converse about who is rich and why they have so many advantages. But I rarely hear people discussing what it took for those individuals to become wealthy. I never hear them ask, what books have they read? In fact, Warren Buffet has said: "no one ever asks him what books he read to become wealthy, he said they rather know what kind of car he drives." As soon as I heard that insert from him it made me ponder. How we are so motivated by the tangible, that we don't study how to manifest it. Motion Yourself To Keep Moving I often think about a meme that has two men digging for a diamond the one who is the closes gives up right before the last strike to the dirt that will present him the diamond. Though it is a social media picture quote it is very realistic when dealing with life. Many times we are so much closer than we think and we take the devil derailments as a disqualification or even worst the things God uses to build us up, we take as him saying he won 't give us what he promised to give. I like to look at the opposition in two ways. One, as a scheme of the enemy to stop my progress and two, the Lord building me up to be fully equipped for my position he promised me. Either way, I won't stop. You see God will inform you through the Holy Spirit if you are out of his will. He will always guide you to better. God Knows Best Have you ever felt like the directions God gave you aren't adding up to your expectations? The beginning started off smoothly and tractions were building, then out of nowhere, everything came to a halt. Things started decreasing and you start to wonder, am I doing things right? Let me help you through my experiences in my walk with Christ. You are in the stages that are called the process, the gloomy part that many don't discuss until they're old and established or when they do, they write a book or speak about it, people ignore this part.  This is the most important part of who you are now and where you are trying to go. It's Ok You have given it all you got and left feeling exhausted and defeated. Seems like everyone around you is winning and prospering in all their endeavors. You don't want to compete but you can't help the feeling of glancing over on their grass as you're watering yours. I want you to really intensely read what I am writing. Don't you dare start the pity party or the why me? Everything has a time and purpose to thrive. Be grateful for everything, even if it's for the opportunity to try to start a business or whatever it is that you are trying to do. Your Overflow Is In His Will Are you stressed out and feel like you just can't find your breakthrough? If so, here is why. You may be moving out of God's will for your life. It Cost To Be The Boss Have you ever considered the things people face behind closed doors? The opposition they overcome daily to get to the position they're now in. For me, I never thought about it, until I started my own business and going after my God-given dreams. There are so many things that go on behind the scenes. People never discuss or at least, that's what we think. Let me elaborate, you will never know the behind the scenes of a bosses life until you become one or become acquainted with one. Average people don't understand the hard work or sacrifices that need to be made. To them, you're being unrealistic farfetched from reality when in fact it is a reality. Don't Let Numbers Control What God Declared Many people give up too soon. They allow numbers to control their destiny. They lack the faith and trust in what God promised them. In fact, the harder it gets is the indication that you are closer than you ever been. The devil whole objective is to derail your God-given plans. He is counting on you to quit once you see the numbers drop or not meet the expectations of what you've planned. Just Show UP In life, you have two options to win or lose. The only way you can win is to show up and show out. Remember the devil wants to kill, steal, and destroy. He hates for you to win. He throws everything at you so you can lose. The devil intends for you to forfeit and fold. He knows that if you keep moving forward you will eventually walk in your promise. I Can Do It In life, we find ourselves uplifting and cheering others on. Then when it comes to ourselves we are timid and pulling back feeling like we can't do it. We can't move forward. We can't win or achieve our goal. We can't find inner peace. The devil is a liar and he is defeated. You can accomplish anything thru Christ. Jesus said in the Bible anything is possible with God.  (Matthew 19;26) You are created to win and beat all odds. The same energy we put into cheering others on is the same energy we must use for ourselves. Delayed Obedience Is Disobedience How many times do we say God use me or God what do you want me to do? Then, he speaks, but we fail to act on what he instructed for us to do. Simply because what he asks of us seems foolish or out of our comfort zone. I don't know about you, but I am so guilty in doing this. This conviction is something that I need in my spirit because I need to grow and mature in my walk. Being obedient is vital to our walk. It is the only way faith can work as well. When we are looking for breakthroughs and miracles, they're tied in with obedience. Each time in the bible everyone had to be obedient to receive anything. Prayers Are Very Vital I believe in my heart, that people don't understand the importance of prayer and how effective it is in our walk. The bible teaches us that prayers are very effective and powerful for the saint of the Lord. It is how we access the heavens. It is our way of decreeing a thing. God can't move until a prayer is released it gives him full authority to reign in our lives. Prayer should always be done before you do anything in life. Living In Peace There is nothing that is more valuable in this life besides peace. I never understood until I truly let peace reign in my life. When Jesus, said he gives peace and gives it abundantly, I now understand why.  It is what the world neglects to seek and why everyone feels so inadequate even when they have obtained all the materialistic things. Peace is what the devil steals from everyone it is actually the first thing he attacks. When reading the Bible especially in the New Testament, the writers encourages and teaches us how to have joy in every circumstance. Know When It's Time To Go Often times we cry and pray asking God when will our breakthrough arrive? Then the moment gets near and we are not prepared because we have waisted so much time complaining and in our feelings. You see the truth is the moment when all hell is waging against us is the moment we are to stand in faith and prepare ourselves for what God promised us. What us Christians, forget is that the Bible teaches us that affliction and trials come especially when you're in alignment with God. Ishmel Leads To Depression I know some of you are looking at the title and saying to yourselves, Ishmel? Let me elaborate for those who are not familiar with the Bible scriptures. There is a story of a man named Abraham, who had a wife named, Sarah. Abraham wife couldn't conceive children but God made a promise to Abraham that she would give birth to a son and his descendants will be as numerous as the stars in the sky. However, Sarah wasn't patient and had her husband lay with their maidservant named Hagar, I know very Jerry Springer. Then she later got jealous of Hagar and the baby named Ishmel. She was complaining to Abraham and later God told Abraham to send Hagar and the child away and no worries he gave Hagar and the boy a promise as well. You're Not Alone I have been doing a series on depression lately and teaching how to overcome it. Majority of the world is dealing with some type of form of depression and believe or not social media has been the source behind a lot of people's depression. People who were once successful and confident now find themselves questioning their abilities to soar and frustrated with their position in life due to comparing their portion. I think we truly forget that people mostly share their highlights very few are honest and pictures are just that pictures. However, we have summed pictures and likes to be equivalent to our success. Fight It As you moved forward to the unfamiliar territory you will have a sense of uncertainty and feel inadequate for your journey. The devil will start placing doubt in your heart and mind. You Are Called To Reign People struggle with that fact that God has given all of us the ability to reign and conquer. Somehow we have strayed away from this truth. We are comfortable with being average and not pushing ourselves to live in our full potential. Being consumed by depression, anxiety, a feeling of self-worthless. Believing the lies of the enemy but never wanting to believe and meditate on the truth that God has placed in us. I too have struggled with these illusions of false truth, that has robbed me of my happiness, joy, and worth. In fact, anxious is a feeling of worry that hasn't even occurred yet.
