Jealousy

The epitome of self hate and wanting something someone has. Often, damaging relationships and situations that could have been valuable. Causing one to be filled with bitter because they truly can't love what they have. Jealousy makes one blind and can't see the beauty in themselves. Feeling the need to compare. I have watch people, who seem to have it all, be so jealous of person who would love to be in their shoes. Instead, of gravitating to someone, jealousy makes you resent that person. The sad thing is the friendship or relationship could have been something special. I have dealt with this issue many times in my life, that it use to make me feel scared to even engage in a situation where a friendship can evolve. Then I had to realize that it's not about me but truly the person that has an inner problem. Honestly, some people, it turned me off from, because I had expected so much from them, and I had removed myself from their life. That doesn't really help because it causes them to feel so empty not knowing why I am so distant. Actually, it is a coward move, instead, I should have been courageous and expressed my feelings.

You see, the thing is some people are just a hater by nature. They were raised by haters and don't know nothing else. Then some are, as stated previously, filled with insecurities, and not truly confident in themselves. Overall, it is something that needs to be death with. Most haters are bitter and so unhappy. That it stops them from living to their full potential. God died and rose so we can have life to the fullest. Life is so precious and should be enjoyed in every second. Comparison is a deadly game that prohibits you from being happy. In fact, the bible speaks on comparison and how we should run our own race. (Galatians 6:4-6 Each one should test their own actions. Then they can take pride in themselves alone, without comparing to someone else, for each one should carry their own load. Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor) Wow, this is why I love the word of God because it truly deals with every scenario in our lives. Lets self examine ourselves for a minute. I will be transparent, because I know it will help someone to be happy and evolve. I want a big house so bad for me and my kids. I want a mansion to be exact. I have a goal and promised myself that I will live my life to the fullest.

 Now here is the tricky part of this transparency moment. I was watching HGTV and this couple was purchasing this beautiful home. As, I was watching I found myself comparing the house to my house. Which by the way, is pretty big and very stylish. I started saying to myself. "I don't have a door like that." Like for real ya'll a door? Yes! In that moment I was being a hater. Guess what? One day God said to me look at your door. I looked and realized it was the same door with a different handle. What am I'm saying? Jealousy prohibits you from seeing your beauty. Half the time you have what you're hating on or more. Learn to be content and value your journey. (Philippians 4;12-13 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty, I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through him who gives me strength.)

You see, you can be happy and you are blessed. Enjoy your blessing and the path that God has created for you. We all have our own purpose and journey. Tap into yours. Pray and ask God to reveal what is your purpose and gift.
