How To Function In Spiritual Warfare

Just like me, I know many of you can agree that we see many articles and books on becoming rich from the spirit realms and five ways to prosperity but we never see anything on how to respond to the wages of warfare. Actually in this modern generation, many shy away from the truth of demonic activity and the truth about false prophets. No one really wants to get deep and be held accountable for sin and reckless behavior in the church or in the world for that matter. We have grown a custom to being motivated in the church and have left the people who are reading the scriptures and growing in faith to be abandoned by the lack of mentorship. Instead, Pastors are more focused on megachurches to get rich instead of megachurches to be enriched in the Holy Spirit and equipped to change the world. Now listen clearly there is nothing wrong with megachurches when reading the book of Acts, you will learn that when all was filled with the Holy Spirit and became saved there were thousands. When Jesus preached there were multitudes. So, it is, safe to say God does not despise growing churches. He intends for the church to grow and the gospel to be spread throughout the world. The problem is the motive behind the forces, which all are in fact spiritual warfare. Against the church and there is a war waging against the saints that follow the precepts of the Lord.

The first thing Jesus taught us was to guard our heart and mind when receiving the word. He said that the adversary uses life challenges and other forces if we are not rooted. Haven't you notice that when you oppose the evil and live righteous that the furnace heat increases and all hell wages against you. The good news is that if you stand your ground you will receive a reward here on earth in the heavens as well. You win. But you must transform and renew your mind. This way you can defeat the enemy. This is all scripture truth but here are a few practical ways to help. I am the type of person that needs a breakdown of tactics to win my battles so this will help anyone who is like me. All scripture of course. Here are some keys from (2 Timothy3)

1. Remain faithful as soldier enduring the pain.
2. Don't get consumed with the cares and worries of this life, knowing that it is a distraction against your purpose and walk.
3. Keeping in mind that your actions of faith please God.
4. Complying with the precepts of God as armor so you can receive the crown to from winning the battle.
5. Remain working on your calling and purpose because labor brings a harvest.

We serve a God that is a waymaker and a miracle worker. It only takes one word from him. However, I must be honest with you. Release The Grief! The pain that we endure by people we love is the most painful experience ever. I don't know about you, but I can feel it in my bones and my heart aches when experiencing this kind of pain. Being hit from a blind spot not seeing it coming from that individual. I don't know if it hurts more because we didn't expect it or because who the oppressor is, either way, it hurts. As I am growing more each day spiritually, I am learning it cost me more to dwell on it.
