Results are the manifestation of all your hard work an perseverance you endured. The cries and uncomfortable moments it took to reach your goals. It's Ok It's ok to feel frustrated after losing someone or facing numerous battles. You are a human being with five senses attached to you and feeling is definitely one of those emotions that are built into us. However, it is not ok, to let the circumstance or death stagnate your purpose or growth in life. You must mourn and pray to receive strength to move forward. I know you might be reading this saying to yourself that it sounds harsh or insensitive but I am writing from a sincere place in my heart. You see I am a Widow, who became a widow before the age of thirty years old. I have three children and I have recently buried my baby sister who was only twenty- one year of age. Keep Your Peace Have you ever notice that as soon as you are in a calm and collective space that something occurs to take that peace from you? Whether it be your boss, children, significant other, or anything to create havoc. If you have said yes to yourself you're not alone. The truth is that the enemy the devil does not want you to have no peace at all. It is his responsibility to do so. In fact, it is biblical. (John 10;10 NKJV The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.) The devil is a thief and God comes to give you more life. You must stay two steps ahead of the enemy. When you know deep inside war is waging against you the first thing you must do is remain calm, pray under your breath and rebuke the devil. Don't get caught up and explode or lose your position. You Are To Expect I know life can get overwhelming and the things we face makes one forget to expect God to do what he says he will do. Our fleshly bodies are filled with emotions and are prone to defensive mechanisms, which makes us react to every circumstance in our lives with fear and anxiety. Even after all the reading and worshipping, we do. To be honest, it just shows us where we are spiritually because a mature Christian knows to fight back with the word of God. Which is so hard for many. We have to believe in God and fully trust him. My favorite scripture from Proverbs teaches us to fully trust in God.  (Proverbs 3:5-6  NKJV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.) Focus On The Task At Hand As soon as you get close to defeat your Goliath in your life here comes something or someone trying to distract you. Before David attacked and defeated Goliath, his brother, mocked him. His brother was so frustrated inside that he wasn't equipped to defeat him. That he ridiculed David for being there. When in reality David came there in obedience to his dad to bring his brothers' lunch. What inquiring minds didn't know is that David killed a lion and a bear before, so Goliath was nothing to be intimidated about (1 Samuel 17;26-37 .) This had me thinking about how people are quick to speak against you when they really don't know you or what you've face behind closed doors because of the favor and anointing on your life. David could have been distracted and debated with his brother. Instead, he inquired about the reward on Goliath's head. David didn't allow distractions to prevent him from prevailing in his purpose. He Kept It Real As I was studying this morning I couldn't help but repent and to ask the Lord to forgive me for all the complaining I do when trials and tribulation comes. I felt so convicted because as I am reading, I am fully aware that God does not lie but is very honest about all the hell and turmoil that the Christian lifestyle brings. He forever teaches about the devil and his scheme to distract and uproot us from our stance with God. It is in plain English in black and white on the pages. He does not sugar coat anything. How To Function In Spiritual Warfare Just like me, I know many of you can agree that we see many articles and books on becoming rich from the spirit realms and five ways to prosperity but we never see anything on how to respond to the wages of warfare. Actually in this modern generation, many shy away from the truth of demonic activity and the truth about false prophets. No one really wants to get deep and be held accountable for sin and reckless behavior in the church or in the world for that matter. We have grown a custom to being motivated in the church and have left the people who are reading the scriptures and growing in faith to be abandoned by the lack of mentorship. Instead, Pastors are more focused on megachurches to get rich instead of megachurches to be enriched in the Holy Spirit and equipped to change the world. When The Brook Dries UP I have come to learn that there are so many ways that the Lord blesses us. He constantly reinvents his way of doing something new in our lives. The only issue is that we get a custom to him doing something one way that when he does it in another matter we get caught up in frantic tactics. We put limitations on God, forgetting that hello, he is God. He does things in his will at his own timing. We focus on how he provided that last time and when the brook dries up we get scared instead of trusting him to provide another stream of flow. Honestly, it reveals our lack of faith and trust. I love how God will provide and teach us a lesson all at the same time. He is truly amazing! I am reminded of the story of Elijah and the Widow in the Bible. God used Elijah to be a supernatural blessing for the Widow in her household as he was providing for Elijah. Mind you before that he was providing for Elijah with a brook and the Ravens were feeding him day and night...

Are You In The Now? Often times we are rushing towards our future that we miss the now. The now represents so much fulfillment in our lives. It is an indication where we are at in this very moment and it reveals who we are at this very moment. The now is a nurturer to the future. It reveals what needs to be removed, replanted, taught, and so much more. In fact, for many leaders and purposed filled people the now is vital to their future. It is the time you get to learn yourself and develop into the readiness for the future. I find my now to be very resourceful for my future, this is the time I am using to learn the scriptures and to let God mold me into what I need to be. Like many others, I was racing towards my future and neglecting the fact that I am not fully ready for all the things that I think I am ready for. I am still very overly emotional, sensitive, naive, and uneducated about many things. This will cause me to not be as effective as I should be for my task. That ...

The Restorer and The Redeemer Life has a way of making you feel so overwhelmed and overlooked. It can make you feel like everything you're attempting to do is failing or like you are the only one not excelling. Incompetent and useless. I am here to write and tell you that is all lies. You are more than a conqueror and you serve a God who loves you unconditionally and he will restore and redeem everything that you have lost for his sake. Notice I said for his sake it is written that you will lose some things following the Lord. Some are due to him pruning you and some due to spiritual warfare. However, he will replace whats needed and give you a fresh start. Which includes way more than you can dream or fathom. We serve a loving God who works on his timing but as an end result wants us to win in this life and in heaven. He doesn't just think about us but he incorporates everything attached to you.
