Don't Smile At Their Mishap

I find it so strange how the first thing a person will do when they're mad at you is to attack your character. They are so consumed by evil and hate the fact that you aren't. To avoid being found out they will go over and beyond to deflect their issues. I tell you the truth when you're innocent and someone you've cared about tries to hurt you because of the truth of their conniving ways. It is a deep hurt but still the God in you is looking for you to trust God and stay in character. Yes! Defend yourself the best way you can but don't go out your way to tear that person down. A character has a way of disclosing the truth, after a while, a person can't lie or play face for long. God is the restorer of all things and he loves his faithful servant. In fact, the bible says to count it all on joy when you're being attacked because of the kingdom. After all, it's the honesty and integrity that the devil is trying to tear down. You will be rewarded for your faithfulness that's a biblical promise.

Revenge is mine, says the Lord. Next thing you will notice that the person who was lying, scheming, and causing so much strive now needs prayer. All hell is raging in their life. This is a critical time for you to be edified or reprimanded by God. Let me elaborate. If you feel happy inside laughing at their downfall the bible says then you will be in that situation but worst. You are to pray for them and keep it dear in your heart that God honors his word. I tell you the truth it is not easy but it is a must.

I recently had someone attack me because of helping someone out that they were lying and stealing from. The person was so furious at the fact that I not only knew what they were doing but I corrected the situation. They started saying mean and vile things to me. I believe they even were talking behind my back to others but left out the part of their wrongdoing. All the while, even though I was hurt inside because I truly use to admire that person. I know deep down inside I was doing the right thing.

After a while, this person was experiencing some crazy things and I almost felt happy inside and wanted to gloat over what I know was karma biting them in the butt. Instantly I felt the Holy Spirit convicting me saying don't you dare or it will cause you to stumble. Instead, pray to me and ask me to give them clarity. You see growth will always require you to become a different you. No need to gloat about it and get in your feelings. God loves you and will always protect you from everybody. Your job is to stay in character no matter what. We as Christians and Kingdom builders must always demonstrate love and peace. This is very personal for me to share but I know it will help someone. The bible is very clear on the precepts God expects us to live by. People perish for the lack of knowledge.

We serve a God that is a waymaker and a miracle worker. It only takes one word from him. However, I must be honest with you. Release The Grief! The pain that we endure by people we love is the most painful experience ever. I don't know about you, but I can feel it in my bones and my heart aches when experiencing this kind of pain. Being hit from a blind spot not seeing it coming from that individual. I don't know if it hurts more because we didn't expect it or because who the oppressor is, either way, it hurts. As I am growing more each day spiritually, I am learning it cost me more to dwell on it.
