Imagine It
Imagine It
Over the weekend, I taught about the power of the imagination. Explaining how God told Abraham to look up at the sky and count the stars. Which we all know is impossible. He then proceeded to explain to Abraham the blessing of his lineage will be as the stars above. So numerous that one can not count them.
He was trying to teach Abraham how to think big. To imagine the unimaginable. God wants us to stop boxing him in. When he says everything is possible through him, he means just that. The disappointments in life can wear down on our imagination. However, we have to push past disappointments and trust the word of the Lord. Timing is God's factor, not ours. Our only objective is to trust God, despite what we see.
Whatever your praying for, makes sure it's big. Make sure it's something you can't do on your own. God isn't in anything we can do. His power moves by what we can't do.
