Release The Grief!
Release The Grief!
The pain that we endure by people we love is the most painful experience ever. I don't know about you, but I can feel it in my bones and my heart aches when experiencing this kind of pain. Being hit from a blind spot not seeing it coming from that individual. I don't know if it hurts more because we didn't expect it or because who the oppressor is, either way, it hurts. As I am growing more each day spiritually, I am learning it cost me more to dwell on it. I push myself to show that person love and not the phony cordial type, I mean the same ounce of love before they offended me. People are not obligated to treat me in an exact manner that I expect. That is my expectation for them, not theirs. Don't get me wrong I expect respect but when a person offends me, most of the time it's because they didn't do something that I wanted them too. Some cases, for some people, it can be very different and traumatic circumstances. Still, when you think about it a person filled with love wouldn't hurt the ones they love.
I had to learn to assess the individual and put myself in their shoes. Some folks don't have the capacity to do what we are expecting from them. They are so damaged and don't know how to receive or give love. Living this way has taught me to pray and be offended less. The Bible has also taught me that as long as I have a covenant with God, that there is a devil roaring like a lion to devour me. This means a person, that isn't protecting their spirit is susceptible to be used by Satan. It will always be spiritual a warfare as long as we live. We must learn to be strategic on how we live and maneuver in our walk. Now listen! I am not saying be a doormat and just let anybody run over you. I am just saying be mindful on how you react and watch what you store in your heart.
Think about this and let it resonate in your spirit.
